Aftermath of Winter Storm Atlas II

As of today, five days following the storm, there are still downed trees, and piles of leaves, everywhere, all over town.  Some folks have picked up, some haven't, which is probably due to their ability to do the heavy work, and their access to the equipment to do it.  There's a chain saw shortage in the area, for example, right now.

Anyhow, one of the things I noticed today, on my way to work, is that even inside my truck I can smell the rotting wet leaves.  Its starting to smell like silage.  Weird to smell that in town.

The Blizzard of 2013; Winter Storm "Atlas."

A phenomenal October storm, this heavy wet snow closed the highways, the schools, city, county and state government in Central Wyoming.  Trees took a major pounding. City Park looked like it had been shelled, and even at noon there were still some areas of Center Street where only two of four lanes were open.
