I don't know what kind of caterpillar this is, but when touched, it rears up and swings back and forth, like a cobra. A couple of small dots on its head mimic the appearance of eyes.

French Frigate Shoals
A website about the bird refuge on French Frigate Shoals. This was the location of an obscure U.S. Navy base during WWII. It's still extremely remote. Interesting to see what it looks like today.
